Stuart G. Anderson, Jr.
Stuart G. Anderson, Jr. has been licensed to practice law in South Carolina since 1969. He received a B.A. degree in Economics with a minor in Education from Furman University. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is admitted and practiced before the United States District and United States Circuit Courts and has represented clients before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court. He is a permanent member of the United States Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
Since 1969 Mr. Anderson has represented clients throughout Greenville and Upstate South Carolina in the areas of Family Law, Probate, Personal Injury and Workers Compensation, having tried cases at the state and federal level.
In addition to his trial practice Mr. Anderson has the entry level Business Law courses at Furman University for more than thirty years. Mr. Anderson has lectured at seminars at the Greenville and Oconee Hospital Systems and lectured at the University of Hanqzhou in the People’s Republic of China. He has also mentored several young lawyers though the South Carolina Supreme Court Mentoring Program.
Mr. Anderson is a member of the Greenville County Bar Association. Mr. Anderson is active in his community and a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville, S.C.
